Terms of Service

SearchTerrain measures and reports search visibility: Google Maps rankings across a market, organic rankings for tracked keywords, and — if you connect it — your site's Google Search Console performance. Features may change as the service develops.

• Accounts are provided by invitation. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Each workspace belongs to one website. Only add websites, business profiles and Google properties you own or are authorized to manage.
• Tell us promptly at admin@vortio.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You agree not to:

• use SearchTerrain unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights;
• connect data sources, accounts or properties you are not authorized to access;
• attempt to access other customers' workspaces or data, or to bypass usage limits or security controls;
• interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or scrape the service, except as permitted by law; or
• resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.

SearchTerrain relies on third-party services, including Google (such as the Search Console API) and DataForSEO. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's terms. When you connect Google Search Console, you authorize us to access the data described in our Privacy Policy, which you can revoke at any time.

Search results vary by location, device, personalization and time. Rankings in SearchTerrain are measurements taken at a specific moment under stated conditions; Search Console figures are reported by Google. We do not control these sources and do not guarantee that any measurement matches what an individual searcher sees, or any particular ranking or business outcome.

Self-serve plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel renewal at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Each plan includes allowances (for example tracked keywords, local grid keywords, AI prompts, monitoring frequency and Growth Credits). Growth Credits renew each billing period, have no cash value and, unless your plan says otherwise, don't carry over. We may pause activity that exceeds your allowance or our fair-use limits. We may change prices or allowances with notice before your next renewal.

SearchTerrain measures visibility and identifies opportunities; it does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or other results. Managed SEO services by Vortio are agreed separately in writing.

You keep all rights to the information you provide and to data from your connected accounts. You grant us the rights needed to host, process and display it to operate SearchTerrain for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect integrations or ask us to delete your data at any time.

SearchTerrain, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Vortio Inc.. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription or trial; no other rights are granted.

You may stop using SearchTerrain at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. On termination we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

SearchTerrain is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Vortio Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you have not paid us.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local law provides otherwise.

We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and notify account holders of material changes before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
