Apple Business Connect: how to manage your business on Apple Maps

Updated November 4, 2026

Every iPhone comes with Apple Maps, and when someone asks Siri for a nearby business or searches in Maps, the result comes from Apple's own business listings. Apple Business Connect is the free tool for claiming and managing how your business appears there.

Many local businesses have never touched their Apple listing, so the details shown are whatever Apple gathered from other sources. Claiming it takes about half an hour.

What you can manage

  • Your business name, address, phone number, website, hours and categories, shown on your place card.
  • Photos and a logo.
  • Action links that let people book, order or get a quote directly from your place card.
  • Showcases: short promotions or updates, similar to Business Profile posts.
  • Insights on how people find and interact with your place card.

How to claim your listing

  1. Go to Apple Business Connect at businessconnect.apple.com and sign in with an Apple Account. A dedicated business account is better than a personal one.
  2. Add your company, then search for your location. Claim it if it exists, or add it if it doesn't.
  3. Verify that you're allowed to manage it. Apple may call the business phone number or ask for documents.
  4. Fill in every detail, matching your Google Business Profile and website exactly.

Why it matters

On iPhones, Maps and Siri are the default for many quick local searches, such as "coffee near me" or "call a plumber". If your hours are wrong or your listing is missing, those customers go elsewhere without you ever knowing. Accurate listings everywhere also support consistent business information, which helps search engines and AI assistants trust your details.

Keep it in sync

Whenever you change hours, phone number, address or services, update Apple Business Connect along with Google, Bing and your website. Holiday hours are the most common detail to fall out of date.

Questions

Is Apple Business Connect free?

Yes. Claiming and managing your Apple Maps listing is free.

Does Apple Maps use my Google Business Profile?

Apple's tools are designed around locations customers can find. Check Apple's current guidance for businesses without a public address before adding one.

How long does verification take?

Often minutes by phone, or a few days if documents are needed.
